As the story goes, a visitor in Mike Seeger’s home happened to notice a banjo propped up against a toilet in his bathroom. The visitor asked what a banjo was doing in the bathroom, to which Mike replied: “Never waste a moment!”

I figure almost every old-time musician can relate to this story.
